I enjoy the choices of dissolves/superimpositions as they represent a shift in real time. Here with the flowers you have the new blossoming with the old traditional backdrop. With the scene from Jacks' hotel of the young girl giving devotion to her god(s) of age old tradition that helped inspire the song, this artistic choice is quite brilliant.
