Jack at The Linda McCartney Exhibit
Here's another awesome shot that Jack sent me today. He's posing with some of Linda McCartney's superb black and white portraits at the London Exhibit. The man is truly photogenic. We'll be posting his personal comments to you all in the near future. He's enjoying his new mint green Tiger Wood's shirt we just sent to him for Christmas as we speak.
And there's more in store for all of you who enjoy visiting this site. We're negotiating with the clothing people for the best possible deal for the new line of Jack's Signature Clothing. All profits from the sale of Jack's merchadise go directly to Jack. Which is the way it should be and is going to be.
Keep visiting this site for upcoming details!

T-Rex Live Version of 'Light of Love' with Jack Green on Rhythm Guitar!
Here's a better live version of T-Rex's excellent 'Light of Love' with Jack Green on Rhythm Guitar! The video is composed mostly of images of Marc Bolan, but you can see Jack in some of the pictures that were taken by the audience members who were at this show in 1973. Jack's unmistakable and awesome rhythm guitar playing can be clearly heard in this rare gem. I've also included two pics of the album and the 45 rpm single for your viewing pleasure.

Jack Green & Marc Bolan of T-Rex

Here's an excellent shot of Jack Green and Marc Bolan during their T-Rex days. This picture was taken in London in 1973. This is one of my favorite pictures of Jack, his true charisma and charm come completely across to everyone who sees this great shot. Marc Bolan's genuine affection for his younger and extremely talented bandmember are also apparent in this picture. I like showing this picture to some of my more gregarious friends and grumpy co-workers and it never fails to get a smile!

The Pretty Things Savage Eye Album
Listen to Jack Green's 'Sad Eye' on this album. This amazing track has Jack singing the whole song with just his double tracked acoustic guitar. Once again, trying to find this import CD is quite a task, but we're still going to get one, no matter what. A sealed copy of this CD on Amazon is $36.99 and more!Thursday, November 22, 2007
The Pretty Things - Silk Torpedo
A truly amazing album from 1973, The Pretty Thing's 'Silk Torpedo' was far ahead of it's time. The main reason why I like this album so much is because the songs were so well written. Jack's contribution to this album is what makes it so memorable. His unmistakable and inspiring backing vocals clearly define the bold direction this album took in the early 1970's. Many popular bands freely took inspiration from this fantastic album.
Take a look at the review below.
'Long out of print, Silk Torpedo provides an interesting glance into the glam era. Beginning with "Dream" -- a ghostly instrumental prelude that their friends in Led Zeppelin would later cop for "In the Evening" -- this album launches into "Joey," a superb combination of piano boogie, crashing drums, and melodramatic choruses draped in Hammond organ. "Maybe You Tried" is a glittering slice of glam rock, all pouting and hip-thrusting, with a simply killer guitar hook from Pete Tolson. From this strong start, though, the album falters into a torpid sort of introspection. Still, "Belfast Cowboys" deserves kudos for taking on the Irish Question long before U2 was taking its first music lessons. ~ Paul Collins, All Music Guide'
Q Magazine rated this album 4 stars out of 5 and called it "... A classic of its time..."
We agree, and once again, tough to get your hands on an original copy. I've had two sealed copies of this album, one I opened one Christmas and the other I gave to a friend on her birthday.
The CD is an expensive import listing at $45 and more on Amazon!

Reverse Logic Reversed Album Covers
An incredible album by one of Rock's Living Legends!
This is Jack Green's fantastic 'Reverse Logic'.
The album on right side in the picture is how it was originally presented and sold in record setting amounts! I've mirrored Jack's album in the graphic I've created to give a cool effect tying in with the album's title.
Trying to find a copy it these days, particularly a sealed copy is virtually impossible, but occasionally they do show up. Jack Green's albums are among the most collectible in 1980's Rock, in the last ten years the prices from his early stuff has gone through the roof. Do not forget, this man was part of T-Rex and the Pretty Things, and his many fans are loyally devoted to the music he chose to share with us. We're currently on the hunt trying to get some of his videos which we'd love to be able to see whenever we want. If you've got concert tour footage and clear photographs, we'd love to hear from you!
Jack's ability to crank out hits is what makes him so memorable, and he still looks the same after all these years, truly healthy, happy, vibrant and dynamic!
(And if we are very lucky, he might be persuaded to release another CD in the future.)

Humanesque Back Cover

No party is complete without this album. Here's Jack looking right at you on the back cover of his awesome 'Humanesque' album. Jack produced this great album himself with Multi Platinum Status all across Canada! Massive radio airplay still continues to this day, Jack had 5 hits on this great record. 5 hits on one record!
I like the artwork addition of the barcode balanced into the picture. One of those 80's touches with that ever-present corporate rock greed factored into it. This album literally flew off the shelves here in Alberta, and that cool 'barcode-into-the-artwork-scheme' was a stroke of genius on someone's part on the release date of 'Humanesque'.
This record is also singularly responsible for the sales of a major amount of high end audiophile equipment. Sealed copies of this record and Jack's other albums are the stuff of legend around these parts. A recent glance at Amazon had one of Jack's CD's going for over $100 U.S. This was a mint copy that had been opened.
