The actual CD artwork must be 'bloody brilliant' if these are just the outtakes! Only the highest of standards are befitting to present Jack's music.
Although he can trill and bend with the best, Jack's fingering is fluid, yet never excessive. Rather than blow one away with a searing vibrato and a tortured soul grimace, Jack is centered, personally understated, cool and controlled like George Harrison or Bill Wyman. Hiptony2's Youtube Video of 'This is Japan' visually underscores this.
Yet his music steps outside the boundaries with innovation supported from his eclectic background. "One by One is a perfect example! Is there a prototype from which this is clearly drawn? I think not! One of the great songs of the past 30 years and a considerable treat to have these original videos that accompany it!
