Busy Days!
We've had a busy month, Jack is still working on a very detailed and time consuming project, and the rest of us have been working on the film negotiations and the other projects. The Jack Green Clothing line has made more progress, and there are many new offers to assist, which are always welcome. Nathan D. is now living in Edmonton for a year or so, and he'll be helping with some of the design and layouts when I am in Vancouver doing some other projects, which include Jack. Nathan also brought his Jack Green Collection of music and some other cool stuff with him.
Some of the things that Jack has seen are pretty amazing and we're glad that he shares them with us. Canada Post is on the hunt for the missing parcel, which should have gotten to Jack weeks ago, but it is insured so they'll likely find it.
We thank everyone for their emails, it's been that busy a month for most of us. Especially Jack, who is basically working night and day the past month. He'll be sending us some more great shots and some video footage in the near future as well as some more of his very personal photographs. I can't thank those people who've been assisting us behind the scenes enough, we're planning a big celebration for Jack's Birthday on March 12, and everyone is invited!
We Thank You All!

Early Publicity Photograph of Jack

To start off your week on the right foot and put a smile on all of your faces, here's a great picture of Jack cropped from one of the publicity shots of The Pretty Things.
For those of you who might not be as familar with The Pretty Things as you are with Jack's awesome solo productions, The Pretty Things were carefully chosen by the giant Peter Grant and Led Zeppelin and signed to Led Zeppelin's very exclusive Swan Song Records. Check out their 'Silk Torpedo' album or CD when you come across it. Or better yet, seek it out, it's one of our favorite albums. Jack had much to do with this album, which is just another of his many talents.

Mystique In Green Alternate Color by Robin

This great and very favorite album popped out of nowhere today, instantly grabbing my attention. I bought it on the spot, very happy to see my old pal Ronnie marching down the street proudly holding this album up in the air, shouting 'Walking In My Sleep' at the top of his lungs. Ronnie's not very subtle at the best of times, but he is a big fan of Jack's music and always calls me whenever he finds something that is Jack Green. We've been friends since high school and discovered Jack's solo music the same day.
I could have sold it ten times to ten people on the way home. But there was no way that was going to happen. Jack's records are mighty hard to come by and I do my best to fill the long lists of patient people who want to hear his music on vinyl. Someone is going to be very happy in the near future when he arrives in Edmonton to get his new high fidelity stereo gear. Guess which record will be the first to be heard on that new stereo? Mystique, of course :D
I took a picture of it on my painting easel when I came home and had some fun with the colors on the computer. This is one of those albums that you can play any day of the week and enjoy. If you haven't heard this album, seek it out. Fine music that stands the test of time.
Thanks and a tip of the hat to Ronnie for making my day and amusing the entire neighbourhood on a Sunday afternoon.
Jimmy, this record awaits you when you get to Edmonton.
Drive carefully my friend.

EARLY PICTURES FROM JACK'S PERSONAL PHOTO ALBUMS!
No stranger to success and a natural entertainer with a flair for live perfomance, Jack has kindly shared some of his personal pictures of himself when he was a kid for everyone's viewing pleasure! We're always happy to hear from our favorite Rocker, who also sent us an awesome picture of himself as a Mod. Very cool!
At the tender age of 16, Jack was a seasoned professional in the entertainment industry and had written already written two international smash hit singles in Holland and in Germany.
Here is Jack playing the part of "Woof," in the the musical, "Hair," on the West End stage. His Scottish good looks and powerful voice added much magic and pizzaz to this earlier role. This is a great shot that captures the early magnetism and riveting stage presence of Jack in live performance. American actor Brad Davis, best known for his role in the movie 'Midnight Express' drew on Jack's original performances in the role of "Woof" for his own inspiration when he played the same role. Thank you Jack

Jack's Solo Albums
Here is a montage of Jack's four solo albums. The complete collection is a hot item around these parts and many others. I've got one collection that is still sealed and I'm keeping them that way!I do my best to acquire as many of Jack's records from all over the world to add to my collection.
His fans totally enjoy hearing his music on a daily basis and we've recently been blessed by some of his latest music, which is incredible and will be for sale in the near future.
There are several independant and national filmakers who are interested in featuring Jack's newest music on the soundtracks of their productions.
2008 has many great things happening already and Jack Green Appreciation Society Members will be soon wearing the offical J-GAS line of clothing when all the artwork is completed.
Keep coming to our site to find out more! Jack visits all the time and he's got a few surprises for all of us in 2008!
