on you tube there was quite a few comments about how much air play Jack got on Canadain radio in 81-82.Thats very true.But,who saw him live at the Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton Alberta Canada.Well myself my wife at the time and kevin,deb,randy and sharon.Great times awesome concert.Love you Jack .
In a age where Rock' N' Roll revival concerts abound one must admit it is nice to see bands like REO Speedwagon, Styx & Foreigner. However even more meaningful is hearing artists like JACK GREEN moving forward artistically irrespective of current public awareness or approval from his peers. In doing so Green joins a long list of true artists such as Van Gogh, Rimbaud & Verlaine, Vermeer of Delft & others whose work became immortalized far after their demise. More importantly they played to the drum of their own beat. While others re-record their works of past glory days gone by, Greens' work is fresh, mature, sage-like and relevant. Thank God Dylan went electric despite the criticism of his peers and thank God Green has given us these gems stemming from his current creative energy and not merely from his treasure chest of dusty memories recited by rote & faithfully playing the part. If you appreciate life both past and in the present then Jack Green has a lot of worthwhile things to say, thoroughly entertaining you along the way with a masters proficiency & skill.
